VBAC after emergency C-section — my journey and outcome

After an emergency C-section with my first, I desperately wanted a VBAC for my second. Many people told me it was risky or that Singapore hospitals prefer repeat C-sections. Here's my honest experience: I found a VBAC-supportive OB at NUH who was willing to monitor closely and give me a trial of labour. I laboured for 11 hours, got to 9cm, but ultimately needed a repeat C-section due to fetal distress. Even though it wasn't the outcome I wanted, I feel at peace because I was given the genuine chance. Sharing for others in the same boat.
