Just home with my baby girl (she's 2 weeks old now) and finally ready to write this out. Was induced at 41 weeks at KKH because baby wasn't showing signs of coming on her own. The induction process started with a cervical ripening balloon on day 1. Day 2: Pitocin drip. Day 2 afternoon: epidural because the contractions got intense very fast. Pushed for 2.5 hours and she arrived at 11pm. The whole experience was 36 hours from start to finish. Harder than I imagined but also so worth it. Happy to answer questions.
