Husband and I have been researching Malay/Arabic names for weeks. Sharing our shortlist for girls in case it helps others: Safiyya (pure, serene), Aisha (living, prosperous), Mariam (beloved), Yasmin (jasmine flower), Iman (faith). For boys we like: Rayyan (gates of heaven), Zaid (abundance), Ibrahim, Idris, Harith (cultivator, lion). What are your favourites from this list? Any other beautiful names with strong meaning you'd add?
