Loneliness as a SAHM — is this just my reality now?

I stopped work when my son was born. He's 14 months now. I love him fiercely but I miss having conversations with adults. My friends are all working and busy. Husband tries but he doesn't fully get it. Is this a phase that passes or is this what this season of life is?

I felt this so deeply. I joined a mums group via Facebook (search 'Singapore Mums' groups) and it genuinely helped. Even just having people to WhatsApp who understood made it less lonely.
