First-time dad in the delivery room — what I wish I knew

My wife would like me to share my perspective as the support person. I felt completely useless for most of it. What actually helped: cold wet towels, staying at her head not the business end, not giving unsolicited advice, and just saying 'you're doing amazing' on repeat. Dads — be prepared to be humbled.
