NIPT vs standard blood test — worth the extra cost in Singapore?

My gynae offered NIPT (non-invasive prenatal testing) at around $800–$1,000 versus the standard first trimester combined screening which is much cheaper. We're 35 and 37 so age is a factor. Did anyone do NIPT? Was the extra certainty worth it for you? I understand it screens for more conditions but wondering if the standard screening would have been enough. Would love to hear your experience.
